Cobra RM40SPB Review

The Cobra RM40SPB Lawn Mower is a well designed petrol mower with a range of features and functions. It has a 40cm wide cutting width, making it ideally suited to lawns up to 600 square metres in size. In terms of height, the blade can be adjusted up and down (with a lever) between 25mm and 75mm, thereby letting you choose your lawn length. The mower is powered by a Briggs & Stratton 450e petrol engine which gives optimal torque, high efficiency and low emissions.

In terms of drive, the mower is self-propelled, meaning no pushing is required, only steering. This allows you to mow for longer without getting tired. We like how the mower is capable of cutting along edges (e.g. flower beds and walls). We also like the rear roller which produces a neat lawn striping effect. For longer uninterrupted mowing, a 50 litre fabric grass collection bag stores large amounts of grass. In fact, due to high air flow, the mower compacts grass inside of the bag to allow more to fit inside.
