The AL-KO Comfort 38E Combi-Care is a 2-in-1 scarifier and aerator which is designed for use on small to medium sized lawns. It has a 38cm operating width and five working depths which can easily be adjusted. The machine is ideal for removing dead grass, moss, lawn thatch, etc.

We particularly like the machine's large 55 litre grass catcher as it allows you to scarify for long periods of time without interruption. We also like the lightweight nature of the machine as it makes it easy to move, manoeuvre and carry. It's powered by a 1300W motor and has a 12 metre long power cable.

• Performance - The AL-KO Comfort 38E Combi-Care Scarifier/Aerator is designed for small to medium sized garden lawns. It both scarifies and aerates with separate attachments that can be switched without the use of tools. It has a 38cm wide operating width and 5 working depths.
• Scarification - For the best results, it's recommended to scarify your lawn in the spring and autumn. Scarifying allows oxygen, water and nutrients to enter your lawn more easily. Scarified areas should be fertilised, re-seeded and thoroughly watered. These three things actively promote new grass growth.
