The trimmer is cordless and is instead powered by a 24V lithium-ion battery which provides up to 25 minutes of continuous power. The battery takes 3 hours to charge to 80% and 5 hours to charge to 100%. Note that a charger is included. Switching between modes is easy and safe as the trimming head locks into place. The trimmer has a guard to protect flowers and other plants from damage when in edging mode.
