It's battery powered and can achieve 2500 linear metres of cutting on a full charge. One feature of interest is its variable power output which lets you increase the trimmer's performance on tougher patches of grass.

We particularly like the Trim'n'Edge feature. Essentially, the trimmer can be changed from a standard grass trimmer into an edge cutter, thereby letting you cut neatly along edges and borders. In terms of use, the BLACK+DECKER STC1820PC-GB has a telescopic handle which can be adjusted to suit a variety of peoples' heights. There's also a handy automatic feeding system for ease of use.
