The Gtech GT50 Cordless Grass Trimmer is a lightweight, powerful and innovative electric tool which can be used as both a trimmer and an edger. The Gtech GT50 Cordless Grass Trimmer is a battery-powered tool, meaning there's no risk of tangling power cables, and also no exhaust fumes (as with petrol grass trimmers). The tool uses a powerful lithium-ion battery which offers up to 30 minutes of continuous run time on a full 4 hour charge. Note that the trimmer is lightweight (1.85kg) for manoeuvrability purposes.

• Blades - The trimmer uses replaceable plastic blades rather than a wire spool. These blades clip on with ease and can be swapped out easily. The trimmer comes with 20 blades, and packs of 50 blades are sold separately.
• Handle - The handle is ergonomic and height-adjustable. There's also a secondary handle to give you more control and let you cut with more precision. These handles balance the weight of the trimmer for easier use.
• Lightweight - The trimmer weighs only 1.85kg, therefore allowing you to manoeuvre it with ease.

All things considered, the Gtech GT50 Cordless Grass Trimmer is a powerful and lightweight trimmer/edger. Unlike most grass trimmers, it uses sharp cutting plastic blades (rather than a wire spool) which is easier to set up and use. We particularly like its cordless design, as you're given a huge level of freedom. We also like its ergonomic / height-adjustable handle, as well as its support handle.
