The Karcher Grass Trimmer is a lightweight and cordless electric tool with numerous features designed for functionality and convenience. It acts as both a grass trimmer and an edger, converting between the two with its rotating cutting head. It's ideal for large sized lawns, cutting quickly with its 30cm cutting width. It provides an excellent means of cutting grass in places where lawnmowers cannot reach.

From a control perspective, the mower has two handles. One of these is telescopic and height-adjustable, and the other is there to support the trimmer and to allow for more control. We like the plant guard which, in edging mode, protects shrubs, flowers and trees from damage. Note that the trimmer has automatic line feeding which ensures that the cutting line stays at an appropriate length.

• Cordless - For maximum freedom, the trimmer is cordless. It's powered by an 18V battery which can be used with other Karcher tools. Note that a battery and a fast charger are included with the trimmer.
• Tilting - The cutting head is capable of tilting so as to suit different situations (as demonstrated in the above and below pictures). It's capable of reaching places where lawnmowers can't get to, including underneath benches/tables, as well as edges around walls and flower beds, for example.
• Handle - The Karcher Grass Trimmer has a telescopic handle for height adjustment purposes. It also has a secondary handle which balances the weight of the trimmer and also gives you enhanced control.
• Plant Guard - Whilst edging your lawn, plants and flowers are protected from damage by a guard.
• Line Feeding - The trimmer automatically extends the cutting line to an optimal length. Note that the thread is twisted to make the cuts clean. The thread has a 1.6mm diameter.

Summary

In summary, the Karcher Grass Trimmer is a cordless, ultra-lightweight and easy to use trimmer with a wide cutting width which makes it suitable for large sized lawns. We particularly like its rotating cutting head as it lets you do more, including cutting edges and trimming grass underneath benches.
