The Makita DUN500WZ Pole Hedge Trimmer is a powerful, well designed and highly effective hedge trimmer. It has a 50cm cutting blade which can cut branches up to 23.5mm in diameter, running at around 4400 strokes per minute. It's a cordless tool which offers plenty of manoeuvrability and freedom over where it's used and taken. It also features anti-jamming technology which is designed to free the blades if extra-thick branches get stuck.

The trimmer can be adjusted in two ways. Firstly, it has three speeds which can be controlled from an easy to use panel. It also has an adjustable handle with various positions to let you trim hedges more effectively. One feature of interest is the curved design of the blades.
