MSPA Bergen Review

The MSPA Bergen Hot Tub is a compact, lightweight and portable unit which has been designed with comfort in mind. It comes in two sizes (4 person and 6 person), and has between 118 and 138 air jets depending on the model. Water is heated up to a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius and can be controlled with a timer which is designed to help save energy.

The MSPA Bergen's other features include an anti-icing system which activates when the temperature of the water drops below 1 degrees Celsius. We like the design of the internal control box. It absorbs noise and, as such, makes the hot tub run quietly. Two means of controlling hygiene are used. These are a UVC light system and smart filtration, both of which we discuss later.

• Heating - The MSPA Bergen heats water up to a maximum of 36 degrees Celsius. It has an energy saving timer which lets you schedule heating sessions. This timer keeps down the running cost.
• Anti-Icing System - The anti-icing system automatically heats the water to 3 degrees Celsius if its temperature drops below 1 degrees Celsius. This allows the hot tub to be used all year around.
• Hygienic - Hygiene is managed in two different ways. First of all there's a smart filtration system which runs the pump for an hour every four hours (if the hot tub is in stand-by mode). Secondly, there's a UVC lighting system which tackles pathogens and micro-organisms.
• Quiet Design - The hot tub comes with a noise-absorbing internal control box.
• Safety - A child lock protects against unwanted access.
