Murray IQ18WM37 Review

The Murray IQ18WM37 Lawn Mower is a cordless mower which is well designed and has an impressive cutting performance. It's designed for lawns up to 425 square metres in size, and cuts it with a 37cm wide blade. The blade has a variable height which can be adjusted by you in seven stages between 25mm and 75mm. The mower is cordless, instead running on two 18V batteries which provide a total run time of up to 32 minutes. Note that a battery charger is included.

One thing which we particularly like about the Murray IQ18WM37 Lawn Mower is its soft-grip handles. These handles are comfortable to hold and reduce vibrations. We also like the handle bars which can be set to three different heights in order to make mowing even more comfortable. In terms of grass collection, the mower has a large 40 litre grass box which is easy to detach and empty.

• Cutting Performance - The Murray IQ18WM37 Lawn Mower has an impressive cutting performance, with a 7 position lever which adjusts the height between 25mm and 75mm. The mower has a 37cm cutting width and a recommended coverage area of up to 425 square metres.
• Cordless - The mower is cordless, and is instead powered by two 18V (36V) lithium-ion batteries which provide a run time of up to 32 minutes on a full charge. The mower has a Briggs & Stratton battery system and utilises a brushless motor for a longer life. Such a motor also runs quieter. Note that a charger is included.
• Handles - The mower's handles have a soft-grip which is both comfortable to hold and also reduces vibrations. Note that for added convenience, the handle bar can be adjusted to three different heights. And when you've finished mowing, the handle bar folds down to allow for compact storage.
• Grass Box - The large 40 litre grass bag/box has a high air flow and can easily be detached for emptying. There's also a bag full indicator. Having a large grass collector such as this means that you don't have to constantly worry about whether it's full.
• Manoeuvrability - High rear wheels (25cm) allow for a high degree of manoeuvrability across a variety of terrains. The mower is also lightweight.
