The tool is cordless, giving you a huge amount of freedom and flexibility. It takes an 18V lithium-ion LXT slide-type battery which, together with a charger, is sold separately. You may well already have a compatible battery, if you have other cordless power tools. In terms of design, the tool has a soft-grip handle for comfort. We particularly like its variable air speed controller which has three settings - Low, Medium and High.
