The Makita UV3200 Lawn Scarifier is a lightweight and well designed machine which is designed with comfort and convenience in mind. It sports a 32cm operating width and five lever-controlled heights which range from -10mm to +10mm. The Makita UV3200 easily tackles dead grass, dead vegetation, moss, thatch and debris from lawns. Collected material is deposited in the scarifier's 30 litre grass box which can then be emptied as and when needed.

We like the scarifier's large leading wheels as they enhance both stability and manoeuvrability. We also like the rubberised soft-grip handles that let you use the machine comfortably over long periods of time. The handles fold down for compact storage. To give you some perspective on the scarifier's capabilities, it runs on a 1300W motor which delivers a maximum cylinder speed of 3500RPM.
