The Forest Master FM6DD Petrol Wood Chipper is powered by a 6HP 208cc 4-stroke LCT Maxx Series engine which runs the drum at a maximum speed of 3600RPM. Before the machine is used for the first time it requires standard 4-stroke oil such as 10W-40. The hopper and chute are both hinged to facilitate easy maintenance and storage.

It delivers power directly to the drive shaft, meaning there aren't any belts to replace or adjust. Before initial use, the chipper requires standard 4-stroke oil such as 10W-40.
• Design - The chipper is compact and lightweight (38kg). Its compact size makes it manoeuvrable and easy to store. Both the hopper and the chute are hinged to make maintenance an easier task by providing easy access to the drum.
• Maintenance - Checking (and replacing) the oil is straightforward, as is replacing the cutting blades.
