The Mountfield Princess 38 Electric Lawnmower is a powerful mower designed for small to medium sized lawns. It has a 38cm cutting width and a height-adjustable blade (between 25mm and 75mm), meaning you can enjoy short summer lawn, or longer lawn over the winter, for instance. Note that the mower is corded, with a 15 metre long power cable. Corded mowers mean you don't have to worry about refuelling or recharging any batteries.

We like the mower's design, in particular its lightweight, rust-proof and manoeuvrable chassis, and also its grooved high-traction wheels. We also like its soft-grip handles which fold away when storing the mower. The mower has a rear roller so that you can achieve the usual striped lawn effect. Grass is either collected in the 40 litre grass box, or returned to your lawn as mulch. This is controlled by the included mulch plug.

Alternatively, grass can be released back on to your lawn as a mulch. Mulch is often nutrient-rich and results in healthier and greener lawns. The mower has a rear discharge. Note that a mulching plug is included.
• Handles - For comfort, the mower's handles are soft-grip. After you've finished mowing, the handles fold down so as to facilitate compact storage and easier transportation.
• Rear Roller - To produce the signature British striped lawn finish, the mower has an integrated rear roller.
