The Makita UC4041A/2 Electric Chainsaw is a well designed, highly functional and powerful tool. It has a 40cm guide bar and a fast cutting speed of 14.5 metres per second, driven by an 1800W motor. Another feature of interest is the automatic chain lubrication which lets you cut continuously without having to manually lubricate the chain. Refilling the tank is easy. You can see how much oil is inside the tank through the translucent viewing window. We like the fact that the chain can be tensioned without the use of tools.
